LG&E will begin pruning trees on Seaton Springs Parkway on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
In addition, C. A. O. Johnson stated that the wall where the City of Hurstbourne placed lettering is owned
by the Oxmoor Woods Homeowners Association. Following the installation of the lettering by the city,
the HOA requested that the entrances be pressure washed and to improve the landscaping, so it will match
the Linn Station Road entrance. Mr. Johnson added that Andrea Hanlon approves of this plan. He added
that due to fading, they would like the Oxmoor Woods lettering be repainted in black gloss. The city will
also pressure wash the brick entrances leading into the Oxmoor Woods Estate Section.
C. A. O. Johnson discussed the placement of a memorial tree for the late Commissioner Lois Wagner.
After a lengthy discussion of a proper location, Mr. Johnson stated he would contact City Engineer Chris
Crumpton to be certain that any spot chosen would be on Hurstbourne property.
Lastly, C. C. A. O. Tyler Johnson reported that a potential tenant had visited the upstairs offices at City Hall
